Primary 7 to S1 Transition
We look forward to welcoming our new S1 pupils in August. Our transition programme for this session is already underway with P7 pupils all having been visited by one of our Pupil Care & Support staff in their primary schools during Term 1 and with P7 visits to Webster's due to begin in November. Information regarding when your child is due to visit will have been sent home by their primary school. Our P7 Transition Information Evening in September was very well-attended and it was great to meet you all!
Supporting the P7s to look after their well-being across transition will be a key feature of our transition programme and there will be lots of opportunities to ask questions and have these answered.
The Step Up Group for P7s transitioning to Webster's, which is run by our Youth Worker on Mondays after school, will be running again this session - information will be sent out via the primaries in due course.

Information Regarding Placing Requests
Please be aware that the council have changed the date by which they have to make the decision regarding Placing Requests from 30th April to 31st May.

Making a placing request | Angus Council We have a duty to grant placing requests wherever possible. When to make a request You should make a request by the end of January for your child to start attending the school of your choice the following August. We will consider requests made after the end of January but places may no longer be available. We will decide on placing requests for August starts by the end of April. www.angus.gov.uk |
